Free InterNACHI "Now that you've had a home inspection" book included with each home inspection.
Every client of mine will receive a free "Now that you've had a home inspection" book at the conclusion of your home inspection. Now that you’ve had a home inspection, what do you do? As a new homeowner, it's important to understand that your house requires care and maintenance. With time, parts of your house will wear out, break down, deteriorate, or simply stop working. InterNACHI’s home maintenance book teaches you how your house works, how to keep it maintained, and how to save energy. InterNACHI’s "Now That You've Had a Home Inspection" book is provided exclusively by InterNACHI Certified Home Inspectors.
Here are just a few photos of defects found during home inspections. Would you have known about these issues prior to closing on your new home without a complete home inspection? I doubt it.
FOUNDATION LEVEL SURVEY
A foundation level survey is included with all home inspections. This is completed at the end of the inspection with a Zip Level Pro 2000. The purpose is to document the elevation readings of your foundation at the time of the inspection. If you suspect the foundation is moving in the future, another foundation survey can be completed and the elevation readings can be compared to provide you (or structural engineer) with information on the degree of movement, location of movement and the relative rate of movement. This service is included in the price of your home inspection.
